College rigorously adds scholarship to the past by in depth study of culture, civilizations, political and social development and their impact from the global perspective.
The rich Indian heritage is exposed to the young students with a journey throughout the world to discover the good and bad. The faculty has put in enormous efforts to upgrade them and we have the full department faculty as doctorate. Classroom teaching needs imagination which is assisted by field visits, tours, video clips, movies and other scholarly methodology to provide practical experience to the students who more than learning enjoy the whole process. The faculty even goes into historical and mythological films and provides additional tips to the student which is a great experience for them. The fascination for historical places particularly monuments has been intensively developed that the students make their own forts to display and get a high range of satisfaction. Besides, every moment with historical value is celebrated by the department at the institute level to fulfill the purpose of the subject by educating the students about ancient culture, historical figures, rich heritage and memorable occasions. The department undoubtedly is the most sought after courses by the students of humanity and social sciences.
