The department of Commerce & Accountancy was established in the year 1992 with
enrollment of 13 students. With the support of visionary management and under the
motivational leadership of our Head of the institute, department of commerce succeeded
well. The growth was recognized by university of Mumbai by approving the post graduate
course in M.Com (Advance Accountancy) in 2013-14.

Objectives of the department:-
1. To explore the knowledge in the field of accounts and financial sector.
2. To develop entrepreneurship skill among the students to make them
self-reliant.
3. To inculcate research culture among the students by giving research
project in connection with any social issues.
4. To improve overall personality of the students.
5. To develop leadership skill among the students.
The research culture is in the blood of institution wherein students
undertake projects and regular conference / seminars bring them on
the national academic map. In the view of Industry Institute Interaction,
department has been organizing workshop on upcoming trends like
GST, IPR, Research Methodologies etc to make students aware current
market trends. Department encourage students to participate in
prestigious research competitions like Avishkar and international/
national conferences.
